Dumbo House is the third Soho House location in New York and the first location to open in Brooklyn. Dumbo House exists within the Empire Stores building on Water St. The building's bones embody that of an old Brooklyn factory with updated interiors. This project required a complete build out of the space including selection of hard finishes, creating custom millwork and designing custom furniture and lighting throughout. I also designed carpets to soften the hard finishes throughout the space. The furniture and lighting were designed to be reminiscent of the 1960's and 1970's when artist lofts were heavily prevalent in the neighborhood. The space also includes a terrace and pool.
